Interview production in Beijing and Shenzhen
Working with Evolved, Alchemist Films provided local production for two interview shoots in China.
In Beijing, we coordinated and filmed the Papaya Mobile segment for Google Marketing Livestream, covering the interview, a filmed portrait and city B-roll. The collaboration continued with a separate interview shoot at Google's Shenzhen office, supported by local crew, equipment, teleprompter and remote direction.

Production preparation
Coordinated the local shoot requirements and joined remote location and camera checks for the Beijing production.
Crew and equipment
Arranged the Shenzhen camera, lighting, sound and teleprompter team.
Remote monitoring
Shared the Shenzhen camera feed so Evolved could direct the interviews remotely.
Interview and B-roll filming
Captured the Beijing interview, filmed portrait and city coverage; supported two speakers for the separate Shenzhen shoot.

Preparing the Beijing shoot remotely
Remote preparation covered the studio setting, interview framing and filmed portrait before the Beijing shoot.
The location review and camera check gave both teams a shared plan for filming.

From the studio interview to Beijing B-roll
The delivered footage separated the primary interview and Daxing material from the Beijing city B-roll, giving the edit a clear structure for moving between the contributor and the wider setting.
The local production centered on the Papaya Mobile segment, with the interview and Beijing B-roll prepared for the wider international edit.

Studio and workplace material established a practical setting around the interview.

Continuing the collaboration in Shenzhen
In 2025, Alchemist Films worked with Evolved on a separate two-speaker interview shoot at Google's Shenzhen office. We coordinated local crew and equipment, supported teleprompter-led filming and remote direction over Google Meet, and transferred the 4K camera footage after the shoot.
